I give up

Well, my experience at the WAJ/MFTS seminar was heartbreaking. I have made a tough decision and I am determined to stick with it.

I can no longer waste my time trying to do something that I will never be exceptional at.

It was fun. I made new friends. Heard a lot of great songs. Learned a lot. I just can't see myself devoting any more time to something as silly as writing songs. Or maybe I should have said writing silly songs. Instead of being average, nominal, and boring...well, I quit.

The choice was easy. I now will devote my time to sewing Scripture into hankies for inmates. At least I can do that. Imagine if every inmate in America had a hankie with an ever present gospel reminder before them. Now that's a worthwhile cause.

Oops, look at the date...gotta go. I'll post pictures of my new work soon.

Do you doubt my mad sewing skills for the kingdom?

Happy April Fool's Day, BTW.

Dude, you are hilarious! You might have actually fooled some people if you hadn't put that disclaimer at the bottom of your post!

Thank God for Susan's post about the disclaimer. Now, I shall begin peeling my brain off the ceiling. That was SO not funny on April Fool's Day. Not. at. all.

You totally had me. Not funny. Not kidding.

But seriously, think of all those inmates now that won't have their hankies.
