- The "blessing" of technology has made continuing work while sick easy. It has also made getting rest very, very difficult.
- At home, I am no longer the boss. An adorable, energetic and wildly unpredictable 18 month old has relieved me of the title.
- At work, apparently I am still the boss...as in no one can get through the day without me.
- Remember the days when colds weren't earth-halting events? Sure there was a fever, maybe a few chills, a day off, and we're ready to go. No more. What is up with the industrial strength super bugs these days?
- Texting is great for short exchanges, but most times a 30 second phone call trumps a 2 minute texting session.
- Time with family, whether sick or well, is the best way to spend what little time we are given.
Random musings and benighted mumblings of a dedicated husband/father, aspiring Christian songwriter, and master of the tangent who likes using parenthetical phrases and ellipses (colloquially, dot-dot-dot) a little too much.

Sick at Home, or the resurrection of my blog
Been sick at home for the last 3 days. Not homesick, or sick of home, sick at home. These 3 days have taught me a few things:
