Earthquake nearby early this morning, then an aftershock about 5 - 10 minutes ago.
I thought I left this stuff in California, but apparently there is a pretty big non- tectonic plate fault line near here that made the mighty Mississippi flow upstream temporarily before the turn of last century.
Wonderful.
All we need is a tornado today and my week will be complete.
It is funny to see people FREAK OUT about it. I've been in earthquakes where we had stuff flying off shelves and coming off of the walls. You actually could see the ground roll as the tremor comes toward you.
And they are so smug when it comes to the crazy storms out here.
OK, maybe I was a little concerned.
