I give up

I've tried to avoid it. I've feverishly denied it. I tried to look away and not be enticed. I've dismissed the voice in the back of my mind as I passed by those who have joined the cult.

I've built a straw man and ruthlessly decimated him to convince myself that I was above it. I've tried to view it as a passing fad, an unsustainable market anomaly that will eventually implode upon itself. A "toy" for the elite who refuse to nosh with the unwashed masses.

I give up.

With a mixture of relief and a fleeting twinge of passing guilt I humbly admit....

I really, really want a Mac.

Really.

You can fight this! What you need is a Mac patch to help you beat the urges.

I guess I just don't get it. Why Mac? Can anyone explain that to me? OKAY, I'll admit that I'm slightly technologically retarded but it doesn't make any sense to me. What is it that a mac has that a pc doesn't have besides the inflated pricetag and the monopoly on tech support?
