I AM A PRO...

PRO-crastinator, that is.

To make a short story long, let me tell it-

Finished (maybe?) a chorus that I needed to rewrite today for WAJ just after lunch with my brother. I wasn't writing with my brother (more on that later), I was eating lunch with my brother. My brother and I have always been close. We both moved across the country within a year of each other. We now live 2000 miles away from where we started, but only 12 miles from each other.

My brother is writing a novel. He has always wanted to be a writer, always loved writing, and I have always encouraged him. He has a deadline coming up for a Christian writing competition, so I guess being a PRO runs in the family. Thanks, Mom.

During various seasons of life I have begged my brother to give lyric writing a shot. The other day out of the blue I got an email from him that made me wish I had never asked him to try. Cool hook, great idea. I hate him. If anyone asks, I taught him everything he knows. This is going to be fun.

So far two songs finished for WAJ ready to get my feeble critique/competition demos done. One more I would love to take...not sure.

No problem. I've got plenty of time.

I LOVE reading your blog! My sister got the math genes in our pool and I got the music genes. Guess who makes more money?
