- Went to a Crabb Family concert...Awesome. Really awesome. Justin Ellis (piano) played about 90% organ, 10% piano for an interesting change from their last concert I attended last year. Lot of newer guitar driven stuff. But, wow, that 10% piano...out of this world.
- The 4th was great. Escaped with only one minor burn. My nephew burned part of his hair off (The bald spot won't be there forever, Kris!). Gotta love fireworks.
- Haven't started a new song in about 2 weeks. I'm disappointed in myself. LOOK AT THE CALENDAR!! Just realized that our July seminar is coming up, so I'd better get in gear. Fast.
- Speaking of the Crabb family, looks like the two twins have started writing some of their own songs. Dad set the bar pretty high, guys. REALLY high.
- Hit the 2 year mark at my company last week. Thank you, thank you very much. Because without any of you, there would be no one to clap for me.
- Wish I would have know that LaPointe and Kaleb Krueger were playing in Ellisville on the 4th. I would have adjusted my plans.
- Even though the Crabb Family is retiring this year, they seemed to have branched out a bit stylistically. A little jazz, blues, progressive country, etc. thrown in the mix. Nothing wrong with that, but don't forget to dance with the one that brought you. I know performers often tire of performing their same hits night after night after night. I would.
- I don't think I like this format for this posting, but my brain is muddled, so this is what I ended up with.
