The St. Louis Songwriter's Group (STLSG for short) has a workshop tomorrow. My demo for my critique stinks...the song is only marginally better. As much of a tech geek as I am, I don't really have much experience in PC based recording (Mac users please hold your comments). I will need more practice. MUCH more. It is what you would call a really rough scratch demo taking the place of the real demo that never was.
However, once I figure things tech wise out I will finally get a Myspace or Shoutlife page set up. I guess if I wait to figure the songwriting part out I'll never do it, so the tech thing is a reasonable goal.
I guess it also depends on how long it takes me to recover from the utter rejection I may face tomorrow.
Nah, rejection or not, I think I will set them up anyway. Perhaps if I try hard enough I can at least become the Ed Wood or William Hung of songwriting. You know, so bad that you can't hardly look away. Like watching a train wreck or something.
I'd better stop rambling and go finish my (ROUGH) demo.
