Late

Well, esteemed readers, I am officially 18 days late in wishing myself a happy one year anniversary here at Back to My Corner. I'm too lazy to count how many entries I have bumbled through so far (Duh...93...it's right over there to the left.) Probably more than ever should have been allowed to reach the public. In the early days I did more editing and revisions. then less. Then more. This paragraph could uses a few revisions, come to think of it.

Nah. It's my anniversary.

As I revisited several of my posts this evening I had to wonder why any of you keep coming back. Perhaps for the same reason that William Hung actually sold any albums. Horrified fascination. Like an accident you can't help but watch.

Well, here you are, so I had better keep your attention. Hey! don't click that link to those other real blogs over there!

Here is a recap of the best of "Back to My Corner..."

OK. that was a painfully short list. Here are a few of my favorites in no certain order that I really don't expect anyone to read, but linking to them helps me rise higher in the search engine rankings. (Incidentally, I will post a list of the top searches that lead people here at the end of the post. Stay Tuned)

OK, enough of the self-indulgent reminiscence (is that a word?). Now to the web searches. I find these slightly amusing. Not one of them was looking for me. Not one.

  1. via Google - "Is Marty Funderburk Married" Marty who? Just kidding. I'm sure they didn't find out here.
  2. Google again - "Kaleb Krueger" Why couldn't I have a cool name like that. Come on, Mom.
  3. Yahoo - "humans are a curious race" Did you really have to go to the web to confirm that?
***Coming Soon*** - samples of a few songs I'm working on (Yeah, I actually do write songs) and a possible transition to another site (A "blog transplant" of sorts...we'll see.)

I've rambled long enough. Thanks for coming by (both of you!). This has been an interesting journey for me, and I hope I have brought a little light into your world.

Now Back to My Corner...

HEY, happy anniversary! I had my second anniversary on October 9. I went back to those early entries and they're pretty goofy but I still had a baby in the house then. That boggles the mind. It seems like so long since I've had a baby in the house. I've moved my blog here since yahoo is going floopy on me, but my old entries are still over there.
