The Artist's Way - Day 0 and counting...

I am way, way behind. Started out being way to cheap to buy the book.

"Hey...I'll try the library." I said. How brilliant. Pip, Pip and a hearty Huzzah and all that for a capital idea, old chap.

Already renewed once. Haven't read a single page. Not even a paragraph. Not sure If I even opened it up. Every page could very well be blank for all I know.

Melissa would be disappointed, methinks. At least mildly, anyway. She leads the Saint Louis Songwriter's Group and is blogging about her experience going through the book. (deepthoughtswithmelissa.blogspot.com) I don't know her all that well yet, but I think I want to be like her when I grow up. She seems to really know what she is talking about, as opposed to me who can seem to know what I'm talking about and not have a blessed clue.

I think I will attempt to do the Artist's Way vicariously through her blog. Not just anybody can imagine themselves semi-publicly exhibiting such vulnerability for the sake of enriching their artistry. That takes talent.

I feel creative already.

Now I'll go back to my vicarious little corner. Maybe I'll even glance at page one.
