When they were kids...

...I bet most lawyers were the ones who spent more time arguing over the rules of the game (and making sure that every conceivable situation that could arise would be addressed by some absurdly worded statute) than actually playing.

The only difference now is they get paid hourly to do it.

(I'm not bitter about it, it's just that a pending opportunity that I'm getting impatient about is contingent upon our lawyer and their lawyer FINALLY getting in a room this week and, wait for it... actually agreeing.)

At least you know what I'll be praying about on Friday.
