Silent November, the end of the world, etc.

I'm back. No posts all of November.

That won't happen again.

There are a lot of crazy things going on on the world. Middle East turmoil (what else is new?), crazy people all over, etc. Chuck Missler very wisely calls the time we are living in the "Times of the Signs." There really is more written in Scripture about the time we are living in NOW then any other period in history.

I remember years ago hearing a sermon by a great friend about the biggest sign before the Rapture. Whatever your eschatological ilk (pre-, post-, mid-, hyper-, nano- trib, whatever) you cannot deny that the primary sign before the church is "snatched away" is NO SIGN.

Think about it. Jesus said that the days before His coming would be just like the days of Noah - men were marrying and giving in marriage. Everything was business as usual...until the event that changed the world.

It's going to happen again. The same, but different :-)

In an hour that you think not...

Wow.

I have a lot to do.

Jesus said the fields were ready for harvest, but the laborers were few. He never wasted words and never said anything without eternal reasons. Could it be that the majority of what we are spending our time on is worthless in eternity? What if we are spending time on menial temporal work when there is an eternal work to do? Why else would he have said it?

If anyone knows human nature, it is Jesus. He alone lived in it, battled it, and overcame it.

What am I working for?

Now I'll go back to my corner.
Maybe I should get out of my corner and get busy.
